Johannes Gutenberg invented movable type which could be reset and reused. This revolutionary event is one of the most important developments in the fortunes of mankind. Today, at Matrimonia, this fine printing tradition continues.We use vintage printing presses and 21st century technology to create work of the highest standard and quality.

We are a happy band of artists and artisans working at our studio and printshop in the green, rolling hills by Castle Semple in Scotland. Environmentally aware for many years, our company is fully committed to recycling and we source our materials from within the UK. Your stationery will be entirely produced at our workshop in Scotland with the finest attention to detail and the highest standards of quality and service.
