Our stationery is available throughout the UK from our network of agents (contact us for details of those close to you). You can also order directly from us.

Our Design Styles show samples of an invitation, but all the elements of the stationery range may be ordered.
We always send a FREE first proof to you by e-mail or fax for your approval before going to print so you can check layout and spelling. This applies to every order.
Instructions are given on how to order for each Design Style on the relevant page. Your order will be unique and you may choose design elements, ink colours and paper shown in this album to create your own invitations.

Foreign language is available at no extra charge. Please send full text and indicate precise layout required.

Special Bespoke Orders: You may wish to use your own design or ornament, perhaps incorporating a family crest, monogram or an image signifying the beginning of your new life together or reflecting the season or mood of your wedding day.

A quotation will be provided for stationery printed to your exact specifications.

Ink is applied to a raised surface, which is then pressed onto paper. An extra dimension is achieved when printed on thick paper with soft fibres. Run your finger across the paper; you can feel the indentation of each letter and the debossment is clearly visible to the eye.

As well as letterpress, we also offer offset lithography, hot foil, blind embossing & thermographic printing.

Most of the letterpress work which we produce is printed on Somerset board. This 100% cotton paper is available in white & soft white (ivory), and is ideal for this print technique, giving beautiful results. We also use Fabriano Medioevalis, which has a deckle or torn edge. If you are looking for something more colourful, we also use a paper called colorplan, which is available in over 50 different colours.

We supply invitations in the following sizes:
Large: 15x20cm ideal for day invitations, orders of service, menus etc.
Medium: 11.5x17cm ideal for evening invitations.
Small: 8.5x13cm ideal for thank you cards, reply cards, etc.

All these sizes are offered as either:

Single Card this is a flat card	or	Fly Card this is a folded card
and can be printed either
Portrait	or	Landscape

The size and style choice is really down to individual choice - traditionally, invitations were printed on the outside front of an portrait fly card, allowing the invitation to be displayed on the mantlepiece or on top of the piano.

Our house colours can be seen here - you can use any combination of these inks on your invitations.

We can also print in any pantone colour specified or we can mix a colour to compliment a sample swatch.

Please bear in mind that colours viewed on-line will vary greatly, depending on computer or monitor setup, therefore, this swatch should be taken as an indication of colour only.

With letterpress printing, slight variations in colour will be seen from run to run, therefore where possible it is best to print all matching stationery items at the same time.

Envelope Lining: Enhance your invitation by lining the envelope in a colour that will match or compliment your ink choice. Silver and Gold lining is also available.

Ribboning: Ribbons in a spectrum of colours, and many tartans, are available. Just ask, or send a sample swatch for us to match.

Plate Sinking: A debossed panel - not recommended for Somerset and Fabriano papers.

When you've decided on the options to create your stationery, fill in your order details either on-line, or download this pdf, fill it in and post it or fax it to us. A 50% deposit is required before we start your order, with the balance payable when the order is dispatched. Payment can be made by paypal, or by sending a cheque made out to 'Matrimonia Press" to our address. Our current pricing can be viewed here. Alternatively, you can order through one of our agents.
